Dad named Karla, he was going to call her Karl afetr his cousin who passed away and was very close to, but the hospital got it wrong and she was a baby girl so it was his idea to name her Karla, she was close too, when mum and dad used to phone she used o say " is my dad there" and if not she would say "ok bye" haha
